Terry Pritchard
Director
Terry has been a prominent figure in the financial Services industry for many years. When he left his role in the Royal Air Force he began a career in banking at Hambros Bank and AVCO Trust both companies merging with Crusader insurance a subsidiary of Britannia Building Society. Terry soon became a member of the Management team ending up as Head of Sales for the group. He subsequently filled the role of CEO and Director at several financial institutions in the UK including Edeus (Merrill Lynch), Providence Financial (MD) Chase (CEO), Key Retirement Solution and Charterhouse (MD Intermediaries).
He most recently had the position of Main Board Director and Head of Sales for the London Rebuilding Society. Currently Terry holds the positions of MD of Channel Equity Finance. Terry has joined us as MD of regulated activity and is looking to expand the department through debt finance and bank syndication. In 2007 Terry won the prestigious award of Finance Broker of the Year and the companies he has guided have also won many similar accolades.
Adam Michaelson
Director
Having trained at the Bar in London, Adam entered the business of Asset Management in 2003, as head of compliance with a small Swiss firm ISC Group, where he stayed until 2008 when he left to take up a post with AD and AD Group, a division of ADIA in the UAE specialising in project finance and development of African projects. During this time, he assisted in a number of large projects including the refinancing of CMH, the state Gas company in Mozambique, and the funding of Longflex Metals, a 500 sq. km gold mining operation in Mali.

In 2013, Adam returned to London as an asset finance consultant for Oracle Capital Group before being promoted to Global Commercial Director where he oversaw 2 major asset finance transactions and the onboarding of new investor clients with a collective net worth of over EUR500 billion. Adam has experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital along with general business acumen and many year’s experience building relationships with funds and family offices.
Tom Pritchard
Director
Having attended Cardiff University studying Geology, Tom entered the world of corporate investment services 8 years ago. Tom has a solution focused experience in corporate finance, after gaining experience at a number of bespoke Private equity, Investment, Venture Capital and Debt Houses.

As well as working alongside two of the big four accountancy/business practices Ernst & Young and KPMG on short term contracts where he learnt additional skills associated with corporate finance. Tom has particular experience with alternative lenders based in the UK and Europe, looking at large scale development projects, both in real-estate and energy. Tom currently holds a number of Non-Exec Director roles for both energy and real-estate development groups.

Alia Turmes
Lending officer
Alia's experience prior to joining CHCP was primarily in the fields of international politics and development. After completing her B.A. in Political Science and Cultural Anthropology in the USA and Brazil, Alia worked for an international NGO at the UNESCO Paris Headquarters. She subsequently relocated to the UK to pursue an MSc in International Development at the University of Edinburgh. It was there she grasped the importance of the private sector in social and political transformation. Upon graduation, she completed an internship with Charter HCP and continued on to a permanent position.

In addition to her experience in the non-profit/governmental sector, Alia has prior experience in the private sector and ongoing experience in the creative industry. She won the Edinburgh Award for Professional Development and participated in the Edinburgh Innovation entrepreneurship programme. During her educational pursuits, she acquired professional experience at Richemont, Hyatt, a talent agency, and periodically engages in film/music projects. As a business analyst, her versatile professional background allows her to swiftly grasp the wide range of businesses CHCP services. As our lending officer, Alia is excited to expand the reach of CHCP's internal lending products and work with clients to provide quick and effective solutions to their funding needs.
James worked within the media industry for over ten years running the ‘traffic department’ of a post-production house in Soho, including a video library for clients like Sony, 20th Century Fox and the BFI. Changed career and worked for a social enterprise ‘The London Rebuilding Society’ as a customer liaison officer. Assisted elderly and vulnerable persons repair their homes in order to remain in them and not go into care.

James left after the pilot scheme but was inspired, gained CeMap qualification as a regulated mortgage adviser, and worked via the largest adviser network in the country. This role also included writing insurance business.

Having served customers and clients in various guises and industries over the years James is keen to develop his skills further in an ever-changing landscape that is finance. Especially within the field of climate change and his passion to help fund cutting-edge renewable energy sources to help save our precious planet.
